TEACHING & LEARNING COACHES (Secondary and Primary)

Requirement to travel between Trust schools and 3rd party partners where required.

We are delighted to announce the permanent opportunity for these two exciting new posts as Teaching & Learning Coaches to join the executive leadership team, to work at the Trust Central Offices and all Trust academies, with a committed team of professionals.  

Venturers Trust is a new Multi Academy Trust based in Bristol formed through the merger of CGS Trust and Merchants’ Academy Trust in September 2017. Comprising Primary, Secondary, all-age schools and a Special school the Trust has 3,200 pupils and 750 staff. The Trust is sponsored by the Society of Merchant Venturers and the University of Bristol.  Both sponsors seek to ensure that all our young people receive a truly inspiring education. Their support, challenge and expertise are greatly valued. 

You will be joining a highly innovative, inspirational and ambitious organisation, so we are seeking an outstanding Executive Team member who can help realise the highest possible quality of teaching and learning to support our educational vision, to enable the organisation to achieve the best possible outcomes for students. 

Reporting to the CEO and being an instrumental force for change delivering the utmost standards of excellent for educational outcomes, you will be more than comfortable with engagement, changes, quality assurance, motivation and demonstrate aspirational leadership qualities. Responsibilities will include but not are not limited to: 
-to drive the vision to move all VT schools into good or outstanding working practices and outcomes for students
-to lead on performance, support and interventions for impacting on positive teaching and learning outcomes 
-to act as lead practitioner for teaching and learning
-to lead on staff development in relation to classroom performance and student outcomes
