FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER
Full-time, 37 hours per week (part-time hours and flexible working options will be considered) all year round position.
VTG9/VTG10, SP26-33 £23,865 - £29,909 per annum (subject to experience) plus Health Cash Plan and Benefit package (see website for full details of our employee benefit package).
Requirement to travel between Trust schools.
Venturers Trust is a new Multi Academy Trust based in Bristol formed through the merger of CGS Trust and Merchants’ Academy Trust in September 2017. Comprising Primary, Secondary, all-age schools and a Special school the Trust has 3,200 pupils and 700 staff.

A vacancy has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to work at our Trust Central Offices with a committed team of professionals.
Finance Business Partners are ‘school business experts’ who provide invaluable advice to academies and the Trust to maximise the use of resources in order to deliver positive educational outcomes.
The overall purpose of this role is to provide a business partnering approach, working with academy Principals, Senior Leadership, Administration Teams, Budget Holders and Local Governors to provide effective financial management. Finance Business Partners support effective decision making, bringing objectivity, constructive challenge and support to financial and business management. The role will also support academies to maintain effective levels of financial compliance.
The successful candidate will have:
• Maths GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent)
• English GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent)
• Relevant qualifications in finance; AAT Level 3 or Level 4 Certificate in School Business Management or Level 5 Diploma in School Business Management
• Full driving licence with access to a vehicle to access Trust sites (mileage reimbursed)
• Experience of working in a supervisory or advisory role
• Experience of working within a charity or public sector setting
• Previous experience of preparing, advising on and monitoring annual budgets
