Untitled 1Welcome to Venturers Trust a Multi Academy Trust based in Bristol formed through the merger of CGS Trust and Merchants’ Academy Trust in September 2017. Comprising Primary, Secondary, all-age schools and a Special school the Trust has 3,200 pupils and 700 staff.

The Trust is sponsored by the Society of Merchant Venturers and the University of Bristol.

Our Academies are happy, vibrant and exciting place to learn and work and we take seriously the fact that our children and young people only get one chance at an excellent education. We have high expectations and strive to ensure that everyone in our Academy communities are able to take advantage of the best available facilities and opportunities during their time with us.

We are committed to ensuring that our Academies provide a stimulating, caring and orderly environment in which to learn and grow.

We foster a culture of confidence, ambition, resilience and self-discipline amongst our learners and aim to equip them with the skills necessary for life to succeed in an ever-changing, highly technological world. We place high importance upon developing a genuine love of learning within a creative environment with traditional values of hard work, honesty, integrity and respect. Our commitment is to ensure that each of our children and young people is inspired whether it be their intention to progress through our Sixth Forms and on to university or into apprenticeships and employment. Preparing them to be able to contribute positively to society in the future is essential to our work and purpose.

Our Academies are sponsored by the Society of Merchant Venturers and the University of Bristol which brings significant unique advantages and opportunities for our children and young people who benefit from unrivalled enhancement both to their curricular and co-curricular experiences as a direct result of this important partnership. Our staff and governors are highly qualified, experienced and dedicated to the development and progress of everyone in our academies.
